The National Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses of Canada (NAPAN©) is pleased to announce the launch of the Second Edition of the Standards for Practice in October, 2011  The Standards are a comprehensive collection of standards based on competencies as per the Canadian Nurses Association's standards and focus on Accreditation Canada's Model as the framework for this version.

Highlights of the Standards include:

• A framework of PeriAnesthesia Nursing Practice which includes the PeriAnesthesia Nursing Paradigm

    The 15 Standards include:
